Created a geo-redundant cluster for a web application to be online 24/7. Configured both datacenters with redundant sets of servers, switches routers and load balancers. Datacenters sync via MPLS and redundant VPN tunnel connections, they are packed with three ISPs to ensure the sites always maintain internet access. Fine tuned the failover to be almost instant to assure the clients never experience connection loss to the web application.

Network infrastructure rework. Client reported network degradation and wireless issues. After a through investigation the client network lacked any type of segmentation, security, flow control and traffic shaping. Proposed a plan for a complete overhaul with a router replacement for a more powerful and newer NGFW. Reworked and unified all the switches configuration. Reconfigured wireless profiles to make sure there are no band overlaps and TX/RX adjustments for decluttering wireless environment.

Complete network upgrade. Planed the network upgrade for five offices and one HQ so that clients can use all services as before while upgrade commences. Replaced all outdated network equipment, upgraded the throughput, installed two ISPs at each site to ensure redundancy and configured hub and spoke VPN topology. Hardened security policies and conducted training for users on cyber hygiene.

After client got hit with ransomware re-thought his whole company’s security policy and cyber hygiene. Restored what could be saved, pathed the workstations and servers. Replaced outdated equipment to support the latest security patches. Segmented the office into several security VLANs and hardened security profiles for those VLANs. Developed documents for users on cyber hygiene and instructed on how to avoid getting hit by ransomware.

Launched an office from scratch. Turnkey network project, handled: delivery, installation, configuration and support. Wi-Fi deployment for guest and staff needs. Configuring redundant connection with mainland HQ.
